Yes it does! Every so often we need to go down to the south coast of NSW and check whether the waves are still rolling in, the pelicans are being fed, and all is serene. It's several months since we've been down there, and someone may have pulled the plug and let all the water out, for all we know....lol.
This break will be more welcome than most as we've had a very busy time painting an entire house in the last 7 days. We still have to do the doors but we're very happy with the result. One undercoat and two top coats on a 3-bedroom (15 square) house is a lot of painting for two ageing amateurs.
So, if we're not too tired to pack and drive the 2 hours in the morning, we'll be off for a few days of relaxation - with not a paint can, brush or roller in sight, I hope.

Have fun on your excursion. Hope you find that all is well, and the pelicans well cared for. I think you'll find that the waves are still doing their thing. Enjoy yourself!

Beautiful pictures. Looks gorgeous!
I'm glad you and Richard are taking a well earned break Alice.
But do you have to keep teasing me with beautiful photos of the seaside?
You just keep going without me!!
Nevermind, I'll just stroll along the sand vicariously with you, and dip my toes in that glorious blue ocean. Ahh...feels great. Thanks!
Have a wonderful time and a good rest!
It looks wonderful! Enjoy the serenity!!
Looks gorgeous... makes me both homesick and reminds me of the time we went to see my brother-in-law play golf in Bateman's Bay...

Hello Dear Frances....
What stunning pictures..... I have so much enjoyed glimpses of ‘your summer’ during ‘our winter’, the joys of blogging are wonderful, allowing us to share our seasons.
Hope you and Richard are enjoying your break. Lots of Love from a dull, rainy day in Wales. Marion
