Wildlife Sunday
Calls from Richard to "come and look at this and bring your camera" found the following inhabitants in the garden.

I love stick insects and there seem to be lots around at the moment! I must find out what they eat - obviously beneficial for the garden

ReplyDeleteIn regards to gardening here in Tassie, I am getting overwhelmed by all the different plants/names and the seasons they grow in...things seemed much simpler in the tropics. Oh woe, will I ever have even a decent looking garden? lol

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen these in Tasmania but we had them in Canada. They are so interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy mum loved frilled-neck lizards. She used to feed them minced meat (hamburger over here). They're so neat, especially when they put up their frill. I guess this little guy wasn't scared of you. Our stick insects aren't as big as yours!
