Different Views

There is nothing like a glimpse of red sky to get me out of bed in a hurry in the morning.

Sunrises change so quickly.

ShellyC lives only a few minutes drive from our place but her cloud views are quite different to mine. The clouds hover over the hills and seem to change shape and colour by the minute. View from her back door....

..... and this was the view from the front door this evening.

  1. You have the best sunsets in Australia! I wonder why that is? I bet the air is clearer there!

Thanks for sharing a bit of your world, I can always go to your blog for a smile!

  2. I love watching the sunrise with a good cup of coffee and also the sunsets and clouds throughout the day...But, I haven't seen any magnificent looking sunrises or sunsets lately. Your pictures are beautiful and I must rely on them until I can see one of my own.

  3. Hi Alice, thankyou so much for visiting my newest blog! It makes me smile when I see friends come visit & thankyou from Sophie for the birthday wishes. I am still coming to grips with my baby being 17, I worry so about her.
Gorgeous photos you have here, sometimes I just stand in awe at our sunsets. Also our night sky is amazing, it just goes on forever. we are so lucky!

  4. What a magnificent obsession you have!! That sunrise is just gorgeous.
Love those fluffy white clouds, but isn't it brown there? Goodness, I can see why you're craving green! Poor things. I hope and pray you'll get some good substantial rains soon.
In that second last pic the clouds look like they're boiling up into the sky. Does that make sense?
Such pretty pastel shades in the moon pic.

  5. Breathtaking pictures as usual!! It's so magnificent to see how the sky changes with either a sunrise or sunset. I wish I could capture on film some of our Northern Lights, they are equally fascinating when they occur!!
