The idle comments of a passionate Australian gardener, whose 'Growing Delight' is sharing the everyday bits'n'pieces with other lovers of gardening, and through photography, the beauty of the Australian landscape.
Hello dear Alice. I'll have to come back later and catch up, but wanted to tell you the wedding was wonderful, with perfect weather, in a beautiful setting (gardens at Cornell). Thanks so much for your sweet thoughts :) Isn't it amazing how the sky changes? It truly is a wonderful world, and God is a great artist! Love the colors in these pictures. xoxoxo
Hello Alice.... What stunning photographs you have taken again, You are always at the ready with your camera to share with us such wonderful scenes. Reading your recent posts, I can’t believe how quickly spring is advancing with you. Marion
I just love the softness of the pink and blue here, and that you were able to share it. The second image especially, it reminds me of the tones so often used on my favoroite old images of Christ and Our Blessed Mother, there is often just this sort of soft healing sky in the background, and it moves me everytime.
Thank you very much for this healing image today Alice : )
That first picture is enough to take your breath away.. and then there's the second.. and then Its not that they aren't always available, the secret is seeing them and catching them.. As my younger daughter says.. cookies and stars!!!
I think sunsets are my favourite pics, actually no, it might be sunrises, then again I do love the colours and the profusion and the balance all around the gardens, of the flowers............
Truly Life's Free Treats! How I admire your wonderful photography. Makes my little offering of sundown a bit tame. Never mind, perhaps I will get better.
We had a similar sunrise this morning- but I missed getting the camera.
