If only .....
.... these clouds would deliver their promised bounty. Alas, three hours later we're still waiting.
Hello Frances... I hope by now those rain clouds have opened up and given a glorious downpour. Its pouring steadily here right now, but we’ve had enough to last for a long time. Wish I could send some over to you. Have a good weekend. Marion
Now I can see your wonderful cloud photos Alice. They're glorious! I do hope they'll give you that promised rain!!! It would be great, wouldn't it, if some of us could share all our moisture with you over there in Oz? I hope you have a lovely weekend. xox
Yes, we too have had threatening clouds all day, but only a few meagre drops (literally) to show for it.

This must be so frustrating Alice. I empathise with you especially as we would gladly forward our rainfall on in exchange for some summer.
