Gorgeous plant Alice. It should be interesting to see which one wins out of these two plants. My money's on the Star Jasmine.
Ooh, the flowers look like snapdragons. Beautiful, and such lush foliage. I too am betting on the star jasmine, we can't get rid of ours.
That is just stunning Alice :) l love flowers with a nice perfume.
l dug up (actually hubby dug up) a load of horse manure for my garden yesterday- need to mix more into my garden beds.
sorry l missed Shay's birthday - she is a lovely wee lass.
Bests for now
Oooh, this creeper is beautiful Alice. I've never seen it before. It looks quite a lot like a sweet pea flower, with little snails added. It's such a pretty color, and I'd love to smell the perfume.
I hope the Star Jasmine doesn't smother it. Couldn't you move the Jasmine?
Ahh, garden pictures! A welcome site since we have nothing blooming here yet. And your cloud photos are always beautiful. I believe your sky is bigger than ours...

I used to have these growing over a pergola when I lived in Chatswood in Sydney. Absolutely magnificent plant - but do be careful as when the flowers drop they can create a skating rink on a deck. I now live in the States in Missouri, and I fear it would get too cold for them up here (around -6C average winter temps - can get down much colder than that). I'm surprised they grow in Canberra! Well done you!
Lovely flower that, we had one on the front of the house and it covered three quarters of it, sadly they only last about 10 years, my replacement is getting there
Seriously, I have a tiny 6' stick in the ground with the optimistic sign near it...'snail creeper'. On the stick is one tiny bud... it's in good mulched soil so here goes... Napier NZ sun do your thing!
