Up, Up and Away ...

.... as far as Melbourne, anyway. I'll be spending a few days with my sister and on Saturday we'll go to our high school's 50th Anniversary/Reunion. Can it really be 50 years since I was at high school? Alas, I look in the mirror, and I know it is ... lol.

Even more than the reunion, I'm looking forward to meeting a Special Blogger Friend this afternoon. See you soon, Val.

  1. Have a wonderful time Alice! Oh you are lucky to be meeting Val. What fun! Say hello for me please.
I hope you enjoy the reunion. You ladies can all stand in a long line in front of the "powder room" mirror to decide who looks the oldest (or youngest) :)
I'll bet you're one of the youngest at heart!

Wonderful! I chicken out when my 10 year reunion came along. The normal reasons... my appearance etc. I hope you have a fabulous time my friend and I bet you look gorgeous. Have fun with your meeting with Val.... sounds great.

  3. Have a wonderful trip Frances. Goodness, 50 years, you’ll all be recalling lots of memories I know, don’t forget to take you family photographs with you. Have you been to other reunions and do you keep in touch with many of your old school friends?

Have a great date with Val too. Look forward to hearing all about it on your return. Marion

  6. Hi Alice,

Just came from Val's blog, so I've seen the photo of you two 'schoolgirls' grinning in the library - you both look so happy! I bet Val is a livewire and lots of fun. Hope you had a lovely afternoon!
