Winter Walk
A sunny afternoon and the great outdoors beckoned. A stroll around the hill and a little winter scenery.
There was a cold south-easterly wind blowing, but for goodness sake -
Tanya - I don't remember you nearly breaking your neck but I do remember you almost destroying both knees when a dog rushed out and forced you off your bike. You then had to push the bike all the way home.
I had so much trouble getting that photo of your father. Every time he saw my camera hand move he would duck behind me and walk so close that I couldn't get a shot.
lol- you made me giggle when l got to the bottom of this post- very funny! Your photos have such a feeling of space- you must have enjoyed your walk-much better than staying in looking at the four walls :) l know that l just need to get out some days. Love what you did with all the apples- l cooked one up tonight with my pork dinner for hubby-lol- what a small scale compared to your canning extravaganza! hugs and bests dear friend- sorry l've not been around in ages- need to catch up.
Richard looks like he's rugged up for a NY winter! But yes, it is better to wear too much than not enough. Cold winds are not much fun. You have such beautiful scenery to look at on your walks. I love seeing the Aussie vistas. Thank you!
You can never be TOO rugged up, I always say. Better to tie extra layers around your waist than to be cold.
ReplyDeleteLovely views!
Here's a random though: when I was about 11 I almost broke my neck on the street that is in the third from last picture....
ReplyDeleteLOVE the last picture!!!

I burst out laughing! I love the gear! Better to be rugged up, then you can peel layers if need be.
