The idle comments of a passionate Australian gardener, whose 'Growing Delight' is sharing the everyday bits'n'pieces with other lovers of gardening, and through photography, the beauty of the Australian landscape.
Can you add a little clip of the kooka laughing? That would make it perfect! :) He's a pretty one, sitting in that lovely gum tree. Wish I'd been there. And there you go disturbing the poor Lizard's breakfast! That big guy is an impressive size. I wouldn't want to eat breakfast with him :) Did I ever tell you about Ross having lunch with a goanna? Thanks for sharing these beauties Alice.
Just seeing the Kookaburra makes me want to head back home again... ahhhh... Australia!!! There is no place like home... no place like home... as I tap my red shoes together...
Australia reminds me of California...that is until I see these scary looking birds and lizards. But then again, in Los Angeles, our biggest threat comes from the two legged variety.
