Tomorrow morning will see us up, up and away,
from one side of the country to the other,
from Canberra to Perth,
where we will spend 2 weeks watching hockey,
photographing the sights in and around that beautiful city,
and meeting a dear friend for the first time.
This photo was taken whilst watching hockey in Brisbane last year.
I'm sure two weeks will be far too long for me to stay away from a computer
so, hopefully, I'll find an Internet Cafe somewhere so that I can check up on YOU!
Take care, one and all.
Happy Easter to you and have a wonderful holiday (taking a lot of interesting pictures ;-) !!)...

I imagine that dear friend is just as excited about meeting you for the first time too, Frances!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I just know you two will hit it off and seal a lasting friendship.
Have a great trip.
Love,

We'll expect loads of photos dear. Meeting with your new friend will be a highlight of the trip, I'm sure. What fun!

I love that blue sky!
I hope you are having a fabulous time, Alice!
ReplyDeleteI have missed 'chatting' with you via the comments sections of each of our blogs while I've been away from blogging. I also want to thank you for the very lovely comment you left me on my 'going away' post. It was so sweet it literally brought tears to my eyes - possibly because I know you aren't the 'gushy' type, so I believed that what you wrote, you truly meant. Thank you Alice.
OOHH, enjoy your wonderful treat &break!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you & yours!
Looking forward to more pics when you get back Alice!! Hope you have a fantastic time away- you lucky thing.
ReplyDeletehugs and bestsxx
Just seeing that planes makes me want to go on my trip to Las Vegas (next month) though my sister lives in Perth and I am yet to go see her house (since getting married)... have fun...
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased to find your blog. I'm always looking for other retired bloggers. Have just discovered it about 6 months ago (yes, a 35 year old friend had to convince me I could do it) and I just love it. Your pictures of the ocean are beautiful. We spend 2 months in the winter on the beach north of San Diego. I miss the sound of the ocean when we leave. Have a nice day and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful time! I look forward to seeing all of your photos!!

Hi Alice... alphabetically you are at the top of my bloglist, so when I start visiting, it's usually here I come first, and then it's always so hard to leave again!
