Oh, we do have similar things out in our gardens at present. Yours is so bright and lovely. I think the Ajuga is one of my favourites, as I love blue flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou've got color color every where!! Pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Alice ~~ Lovely to hear from you and I am glad you liked the story of the old phone. It would be nice to have a human voice on phones today instead of Press 1
ReplyDeleteor Press 2 etc. Your photos are beautiful and your garden magnificent. My favourite was the Lavatera and of course the veggie patch, especially the broad beans - I love them. Yake care, my friend, Love, Merle.
It is so exciting to see your garden come alive year after year! Always beautiful pics, thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous mix of textures and colors you have! It must be such a joy for you to walk in the garden and see everything looking so beautiful. I wish I could grow lavender like yours. I haven't had any success with it overwintering so far. The ajuga looks lovely next to the 'Sweet Alice' :) It's gone wild in my garden this year. Positively rambunctious it is! I wish my Centranthus would show just a little of the same enthusiasm! I guess it likes your climate better than ours.
ReplyDeleteI also love that beautiful Broom.
Richard's veggie garden is also pretty as a picture. Looks like you'll have lots of lovely veggies soon.
Thanks for this delightful tour.
Happy gardening dear Alice.

Hi, My garden in France is nothing like this panorama of colours. I've worked hard on it though! You can have a look at the little video I made in August if you like: http://threefoldtwenty.blogspot.com/2008/11/118-ma-gueule.html
ReplyDeleteThe idea of lavender mixed with daisies looks great. I'll try it. Thanks, Alice, for these fabulous photos.
These photos are ALL in YOUR garden? I thought you must have had a day out in the Botanical Gardens!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely walk before I go to bed for the night.
