Clouds

One of the joys of living in the country or close to it is being able to 'steal' the landscape, clouds and all. I know that urban dwellers appreciate clouds too but sometimes there are too many surrounding buildings to be able to 'incorporate' them into their garden vista.

  1. Not much in the way of rain - yet, but we keep hoping. Glad you got some, Abe/Happy.

  2. I like these pictures, Alice. It's funny - I was thinking tonight, as the sun became low in the sky, that the clouds looked so pretty I should take a photo for my blog (inertia got the better of me, though!)

Hope you get some rain soon.
    Have a delightful Sunday!

  4. I see you're doing what you love again today Alice...sharing your world:) Lovely clouds. I think they're one of God's most beautiful creations.
Hope you get some rain. We have plenty of moisture over here. Ross shovelled all the snow off the front porch this morning and the sun has melted the rest. It's a beautiful day!

  6. It's funny in your part of the world and my part of the world the clouds all look the same.....I love watching the formations.... One time when my granddaughter Jenson was about 2, when riding in the car with her mom, she looked out the back window, and said look mommy Grandpa Jim is following us... meaning that grandpa Jim was up in heaven and that certain cloud was him following us.....

What kind of digital do you have? Your pictures are so clear and beautiful......I may have to invest in a little better one...I went for simple, so that my tiny old brain could understand it....but since I have been excercising, (walking & tap) I feel my brain is working better...so maybe I'm ready for the challenge....lol

  7. Judy - my camera IS very simple, otherwise I couldn't use it, really. It's a Canon PowerShot SD300 IXUS 30, with 3.2MP and 3x Zoom lens. So it's definitely not fancy or powerful, but all I wanted was small and simple so that I could put it in my bag or even my pocket and take photos instantly, without having to fiddle around or read the instruction book every time I wanted to use it. I know that it has the capacity to do a lot more than I use it for - I just haven't gotten around to working out how.
