  1. OK, is this a trick? I go over to the Purple Giraffe to read her Thursday Thirteen, and I see a link to your blog. I think: hey, Alice is getting in on the Thursday Thirteen thing! And although the photo is stunning, where's the TT??

  2. Sorry, Val. I was spending too much time reading and responding to TT that I gave it up. I would much rather respond often to the bloggers I count as friends than to write one-line comments to people whom I don't know.

I may do a TT once in a while if I think of something interesting to write about. Actually, I've just thought of one, but maybe I'll leave it until next week as it usually takes me forever to do a TT, especially as I've forgotten all the codes, etc.

  3. First of all, I love your new profile picture!!! Secondly, this picture of the sunrise is one of the most glorious ones I've ever seen! Seeing the sun coming up behind the tree branches is absolutely beautiful!!

  5. Ooh, Alice, you've put me right off doing a TT myself: time commitment, another thing for my busy retiree's diary (heh heh!), and the mysterious sounding codes.

Eeek! and I just noticed your new photo because Pea commented on it. Eeek! - not because the photo is bad, just the opposite, but because I've been so un-noticing.

That's a lovely photo of you, as the last one was. I wonder if it's time for me to change my profile photo. I'm sure there are plenty of people who have visited during the Bloggy Tour of Homes that might have thought that was how I really look! lol
