The Sun DID Rise.
A somewhat different sunrise this morning, but nonetheless interesting. Thick fog 'changes' the landscape so dramatically and lets you concentrate on those things close by.
I assure you the sun is shining.
All in a world of our own.

As someone who lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 14 years, I do love the fog. Now all you need is the sound of a foghorn (maybe the middle of Lake Burley Griffin?).

It's rather a cozy feeling, isn't it? It's nice to share your views and weather Alice. That dogwood is pretty with the new green grass behind it. Are those pink flowers stocks? My mum used to grow stocks and I always loved their beautiful scent.

I love your foggy photos, particularly the first one where the sun is trying to break thro’.
Here on the west coast of Wales, we don’t get much fog, instead we get sea mists, they can come inland incredibly quickly, completely engulf you and will change the temperature quite dramatically. Marion

Fab pitures Alice! I can see the sun! The fog looks really sinister in the second pic. Oh and your green grass looks really green now, I can imagin how much you must love it! The Cornus is beautiful, this is something I still need in my garden, because I love the red branches in the Winter.
