Edna's collapse was not due to a stroke, but to a very low heart rate, which deprived her of oxygen, causing her to collapse. She has had an irregular heart rate for some years so she will be fitted with a heart pacemaker this afternoon, and should be home again on Friday. Let us hope that this, together with the recent surgery, will put her on the road to a much better quality of life than she has had in recent years.
Thank you again for your prayers and support.

Take care, Meow
It sounds as though Edna's problem will be sorted out with the pacemaker, so although I'm sure you're all stressed, at least there's something that can be done. Hope all goes well, and Edna is home and well again very soon.
