They are back - no thanks to 'Hello'. I'll try some captions again, but if they don't work then that's it from me, gone forever, no more photos ,,,,, ha, ha, what a joke - I would feel undressed without the camera these days so I'm bound to inflict a few more upon you from time to time. OK, here goes .....
I thought I had it all worked out, but then found I had blank space about a kilometre long between each photo. So, that's it - no captions. Now, I'd better get out there and do some weeding since it's a cooler, calmer day than we've had for a while.
And still beautiful Alice! What are the red flowers in the bottom pic?
ReplyDeleteYour patient persistance with pay off in the end. You're a never-give-up girl!! :)
Hope you've had a lovely Friday.
And it's a very good start Alice!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and I still say YOU MUST BE THE ENVY OF THE BLOCK with such beautiful flower gardens.
Well done that woman! What persistence, are you a Taurus? Here with autumn on my doorstep, its lovely to see spring flowers and congratulations on your green grass. How lovely it is to be able to enjoy the other side of the world as well as one's own.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning garden ! You could charge admission..! I was sorry to read about the problem you had with your pictures :-(
ReplyDeleteHowever it's makes me feel better, as I was thinking it was just me Blogger had it in for.
My old boss had a saying
"if it ain't broke don't fix it"
and I think if it's a little less than perfect it's better than losing the whole darn thing..
Strange things happened to your blog Alice! You know I could see all these photos already a week or so ago and I've posted a comment and you have answered me. Well I'm sorry that I haven't realised that you've had serious issues with blogger. Anyway great news that everything is working again for you now and your spring pictures are still lovely, especially the one with the Jasmine! x
ReplyDeleteAlice, I see them!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell they are just as always Beautiful!!!
Your garden for summer has come along very quickly I wish I could say mine is this way as well but not this year sadly........Let it rain! let it rain! let it rain.
have a lovely day and more photos always! please.

I end up just copying and pasting and then captioning because blogger is being such a beast. Your garden is lovely and looks like a park...

If it makes you feel better Alice, you're not alone. I had about 5 pictures that didn't post fully last night. They just did the same thing when I tried resending them. I finally managed to load one to a new post using Blogger, then cut and pasted into the post where I wanted it. Loading through Blogger is very fickle though. It often won't work.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are still beautiful! :) I keep coming back to look at them. Gorgeous gardens!
Wow! Your gardens are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am very moved by the little flower framed door, the 8th picture down. Reminds me of a cozy cottage or secret garden, not just the door but the sweet fragile flowers around it : )
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly beautiful garden! It looks like a botanical garden. I wish you were my neighbor -- but then if you were, you probably wouldn't be able to grow these beautiful flowers here in La Ceiba, Honduras.
ReplyDeleteSo glad its still working at least a bit better... and that're you're still posting. Gardeners have a great store of persistence, hope and faith. Otherwise how could we stick those dried up specks we call seeds into dirt expecting such beauty as is your photos?
ReplyDeleteWow! What fabulous photos. Here in the Black Hills gardens are a bit hard to grow (I am of a mile above sea level) so my dear hubby is going to make me a hot house (we have a new home so things are coming along slowly). We have had snow already as well but nothing much has stuck to the ground yet. We may get a bit more tonight. Glad I stopped by!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless! and have a great day!
You do have a botanical garden of your own! What beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteAlice, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I really enjoyed the fact that you said 'damn' in big red block letters on your last post. You're always such a calm kind of lady, so wise and sweet. It's a relief to find out you can lose it like the rest of us!
