I was so busy yesterday that I forgot about Green Thumb Sunday, but as it's still Sunday in some parts of the world, I thought I would sneak this photo in. These are not our cattle. They were in a paddock (field) close to a park where we went walking last week. During our walk we saw dozens of kangaroos, a large shingleback lizard, and around 15 different bird species.

    Thats a really cool picture of the mooooos Alice..... are they yours.....? if so, what are their names.? Comeon, you must have names for them.....LOL You should be able to sell that picture to a butcher, or meat factory......

    Judy - no they are not my cattle. I photographed them on a recent walk we took with Michelle's Swiss in-laws.

    These cattle wouldn't have names but they would certainly have a number, hence the blue tags in their ears.

    Sure hope it doesn't interfere too much with our plans for Xmas!! Russ is doing a good job at looking after me - plenty of chocolate!

    Alice, how wonderful to see kangaroos, I can only see some cows and gooses! It is warm in Germany, 10 ° outside, and this in December, no snow.

    They're lovely moos Alice. Looking nice and fat and content. There's no green grass there I notice. I wonder does the farmer bring them hay?
    I'd love to see dozens of kangas, a lizard and all those wonderful Aussie birds. Next time can I come please?
