Aberaeron

A few kms south along the coast from Aberstwyth is the very colourful town of Aberaeron
Most of the houses looked as though they had only been painted last week, so fresh and clean were they. Mostly in pastel colours with white trim, these pretty houses are a delight to see.
(If you click on the photos you can read the road signs and the information on Dylan Thomas. You can even check the state of 'doneness' of the two sunbathers....lol)

Just lovely, these are. I can just feel the wonderful air of Wales now. And I especially love the pastels.

Those houses certainly are colourful. I love the patchwork fields, all outlined neatly with hedges.

As for the sunworshippers...yep, time to turn over and do the other side...but put the tops back on first!

Tell me, Alice, could you pronounce those names?

What a beautiful village with so many lovely sights to see. Those pastel houses are so pretty, and the boats on the water...so peaceful.
I'm sure I'd be able to smell the seashore if my nose wasn't blocked with this head cold :)
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos, Alice. Thank you!

I first thought it was in Australia ! I hadn't read it was in the UK and I was so surprised that in Australia the villages look like in the UK, lol !
Very beautiful sightseeing ! I just came back from the English coast (Eastbourne)
