Richard and 'Alice',
after many weeks of waiting
and trips up and down the ladder,
have pleasure in announcing the birth of
3 or 4 tiny Crimson Rosellas on
15 October 2007.

We will tell you their names when we stop arguing about them!

Hooray! I didn't think they would start out white. Very interesting. I am looking forward to hearing their names.

How thrilling! They do look rather strange at present!
Oh sorry, you never say that to new grandparents do you??

Congratulations on the hatching of your new grandbirdies and I know that you'll have many hours of pleasure watching them grow up.
They're so fluffy and I can't wait to hear what you two name them.

I'm having trouble picking out the individual birds. They look like one ball of downy fluff

well, fancy, having your own rosellas in your backyard coming home for dinner and all that! how about a flock of gallahs next?

Congratulations on the birth of your grandbirdies! How cute and fuzzy they are!!
It's a bit hard to tell which grandparent they resemble most at the moment. Do you have any chin whiskers Alice? :)
Perhaps you should put the name choices in a hat and each draw a couple out?? No fighting now! Don't make me come over there!

Fantastic news. What a joy to behold. Maybe you could put your name suggestions on your site and let the readers vote. That's how my pigs got their names!

Hi Alice ~~ How lovely to have those baby birds and as well as their names I look forward to seeing more photos when they look more like baby birds
and not just fluff. I also loved your cloud photos, after tree, they are
lovely to see. And your boardwalk is beautiful. How very good your usband was to do all that kneeling work.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Oh my goodness ~ the baby rosellas are too cute! The lizard not so...haha.
I'm with you, I wouldn't be collecting the mail either.
I didn't know that the chicks would be white when interesting. I bet they're growing fast.
