A Little Colour Needed

We've been to the Roman Theatre ....... twice in the last week.....lol, and at the end of the performance, the artists often receive flowers, although they are usually in the form of bouquets, not still growing in the ground as these are.
But it's the thought that counts, isn't it?.......lol
These are some of my Keukenhof tulip photos - those in the earlier post were taken by Richard. I was surprised that we had so many different photos.

These azaleas must have been spectacular at their peak, which was probably a week or so before we were there.....but they were were still pretty stunning.

Looking at your pictures I get furious ! My son who lives in Amsterdam forgot to tell me about the blooming Keukenhof when all the tulips bloomed ! For me it's not far just a little less than 200 km. Next year I go there for sure and then will stay a week with him, just to get on his nerves, lol !

Would you believe, Puss, we were there towards the end of the season....the best blooms had already finished.

My mind is on colour overload! Keukenhof gardens much be among the most beautiful in the world. Everything is so lush and well cared for.
Thank you, dear Alice, for sharing the gardens through your eyes and camera lens.
Now we're not going to have any arguments about whose photos are the best, are we? ;)
I have to say the pinks win the biggest place in my heart. I especially love the 3rd from the last picture. So beautiful!
Your new header photo is divine, and I like the new layout colours. When did you change that? I don't remember seeing the lovely magenta before, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Oops! That should be "must be".

I love the large swaths of tulips. I recognize some of the varieties, and even have some of them in my own garden - just can't afford the amount that you saw there!
Absolutely wonderful! Wished I was there.
