Christmas, New Year, Birthday ..... a crowded few days!

Posted by Picasa
Christmas - with Michelle and the family;

New Year - with my family in Melbourne;

Birthday - with my husband, Richard.

Quite an exciting few days.

Thank you to all the members of my family
who made these occasions such happy times -

Michelle for organising Christmas,

my sisters (Rita and Annette) for organising the family reunion,
and their always wonderful hospitality,

and to Richard who is going to take me
shopping for my birthday -

now, where can I buy 20 bales of mulch?

Happy Birthday, Alice!
I hope you do get those 20 bales of mulch - along with something pretty, too!
It's fun to realize that your January birthday is a summertime event in Australia, while a Sagittarius born in the USA is a winter-baby. Happy 2007 from

Happy birthday dear Alice,
Happy birthday to you.....
and many more!
Oh dear, I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. I was thinking it was later in January.
But it is still January 3rd here (5:45PM)!
Anyway, dear Alice, it sounds like you've had some very happy times with your family and that's wonderful!
I hope you find that mulch. I'm telling you, we have it, all you have to do is come and get it!! What are you waiting for??

P.S. That's a beautiful picture of your sweet smiling face :)

Kerri (White Rabbit) - I would come and get that mulch in an instant except that Customs would confiscate it at Sydney Airport

Happy Birthday to you!

And why have you never mentioned to us how beautiful you are? What a gorgeous photo.

Enjoy your mulch!

Jelly - funny, as always. Obviously you have your rose-coloured glasses on - but thank you, anyway.

Alas, the store is still waiting for the mulch to come in, but I'll be there when it does!

Have fun shopping, but skip the mulch,,,,,it's your birthday, by something special for yourself.... if you must by mulch, make it a colored mulch, so when you look at it will make you smile......

what kind of mulch? Lucerne is about $22 a bale here, so I have switched to pea straw. we have had some marvellous rain over the new year.

Happy Belated Birthday wishes dear Alice, may it be a truly special and fulfilling personal year ahead.

I wish I could give you a hug, but alas it's a bit hard being so far away. So I am sending you some cyber hugs instead!
