... may have many thorns,
but all is forgiven when the flowers appear.

How can one rose bush possibly have so many flowers??
Oh oh oh...it's so beautiful!
Lucky you to be able to enjoy that gorgeous sight for a while. How long will it bloom like that? Is there a wonderful scent to go with the glorious blossoms?
Thanks for sharing these lovely photos Alice.

Hi Alice ~~ Your rose is so beautiful
and I enjoyed seeing the baby birds again. It is good that both parents
feed them. It must be fun to watch them ~ lucky you and your husband.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Oh Alice, your Rambling Rector looks just wonderful!!. I've got one from a little cutting that I made three years ago. Last summer we had the first flowers, but it is not yet a real fast growing rambler. How old is your beautiful one??

Oh, Alice, what a time we've had these last days. This plant reminds me of our rambling, growing DH fans, blossoming profusely!

OH I DO LIKE YOU! Thanks for enriching my life.

Hiya...the Rector is truly a beautiful plant....I planted one on an old granit wall outside our 12 century church 15 years ago in honour of our rector...it has taken over the place so many times that occasionaly my husband had to be brutal and give a good pruning...it always romps back...great photos and happy new year
