A Potential Addict

They say that 'one picture is worth a thousand words(?)' and at this rate I may never need to write another word. What a relief that would be to fellow bloggers! I daren't admit to how many hours of sheer frustration I have expended in posting just a few photos. On the first day I didn't know how to do it, on the second day I didn't know how to get them all on the one blog, and today I couldn't locate the photos once I'd loaded them to the computer. I dare not think what challenge tomorrow may bring.

A Cottage Garden in the making. It keeps changing, but I guess they all do. Posted by Hello

The 'Big' Garden (R. keeps saying "For heavens sake, find a different name for that garden.") A mixture of trees, shrubs, annuals, bulbs and perennials. I just want the trees to hurry and grow so that I'll have some idea what to do with it all. Posted by Hello

The garden along the front footpath. Note the typically 'green' Canberra lawn on the right side. Posted by Hello

Very, Very Nice. Please come and garden for me. Is your block flat or do you have some lovely slopes to play with? Can't wait for more photos. Keep up the good work.

The 1440sq metre block slopes down from the road. The slope is enough to make it interesting but not too difficult, although the older I get the steeper it gets, or at least it seems that way some days.

You do realise you've taken the title of family photographer away from your husband, don't you? But that's okay, because the photos are great and I get to see what changes you've made over the past year and a half since I was last there. How about some pictures of the back deck? Very impressed :)

How very, very lovely. Your garden looks delightful, and you are going to have so much fun with that camera. Aren't they wonderful!!! It means so much more to be able to visualise your garden.

How about a picture of the propogation area??? And the thousands of trees?

what a gorgeous garden. I love that grass, I have been meaning to get some but it looks potentially dangerous with its spikes. good going on the photos.

Don't worry, Kath, the spikey grass is well padded by the dust between the clumps.

Thanks for the doll hair hint!! going to try that this evening...nice to meet you too, fellow Australian....and wow surely that is not your garden (sorry will read through your earlier posts to find out) it is stunning!!! my mother and father inlaw have recently done up our garden (we rent from them) and it's very inspiring ....you can sometimes catch me pulling weeds ...but you have to be quick!...I think the gardening bug will catch me sooner or later.
