Even further North

Arrived in Townsville this morning after a two hour flight from Brisbane. Warm (very warm) and sunny here. Really looking forward to spending this week with Tanya - watching her play beach volleyball this evening and AusTag (a type of touch football) on Wednesday night. Then we will be heading off for a couple of days high up on the Atherton Tableland before flying back to Brisbane on Sunday and beginning our leisurely drive back to Canberra.

Took lots of photos of Brisbane and Townville from the plane - certainly a different view of the cities. I've only taken 300 photos in a week so far; I've been very restrained!!!

Yes, you've certainly restrained yourself Alice! I'm amazed :) Looking forward to seeing a few of those fascinating photos when you're back on home turf.
Have a wonderful time with Tanya and please give her my love.
I envy you the warm (very warm!) weather. Just a smidgen here would be very welcome. Winter is not leaving until it's given us it's full dose of cold! xoxoxo

Speaking of lots of photos, did you notice when uploading photos now, Blogger tells you how much of your quota you're using? So far I'm only using 1% - wonder how much you and Kerri are using!

Only three hundred photos, thats lots of memories to look over.Do you have a digital camera with memory stick, or a normal camera with rolls of film? Its the waiting for them to be developed and then seeing which photos have worked and which ones dont have thumbs in them!Sounds like you are having a good time.I enjoyed my time I spent in Townsville on my tour of Australia.
