Country Gardens

Together with my Victorian cousins, we visited three Open Gardens in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Each garden, although different from the others, featured a wonderful display of trees, perennials and ground covers. Many of the garden beds receive no water at all apart from natural rainfall. One thing each garden did have in common was magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

What a beautiful place! It all looks so green! It's just like being there with you. Thanks for sharing the experience through these lovely photos. I love those soft pinks, blues and purples. That bench in the top photo looks so inviting.

Alice,

my favorite is the 4th from the bottom, that slightly open gate inviting you to step out into the paddock with the hills in the distance. Beautifully composed shot.

Have a lovely week off. We'll be here when you get back.
