- Alice
- My husband and I are both retired and have lived in Canberra (Australia's Capital) for 35 years after moving from Victoria. We both love gardening and travel; I also love photography (you'd never guess), sewing & crafts, and writing. We have 4 wonderful adult children - 3 girls, 1 boy, and 6 adorable grandchildren.

Have an enjoyable break. The bottom photo of waves is just perfect - my idea of heaven. What could sooth the soul and enliven the spirit - all at the same time - than gentle waves breaking. Perfect image - thank you!
Ahh, thank you Alice, for the beautiful water pictures, especially the waves. As Val says, nothing soothes the soul quite like the shoreline and breaking waves. Wish I could hear and smell them too. Jelly was teasing me with pics of the ocean too.
It's a blustery cold day here and we'll probably have more rain before it's through.

Breaks from the everyday are wonderful. I love the pictures of the waves - When we lived 10 minutes from the water I took many mini-vacations... very restoring and enjoyable. I wish you lots of enjoyment and many photo "ops".
