A New Day, A New Week, A New Beginning, Same Old Blog!

Well, it is a new day, a new week, and the new beginning for my Blog, which I hope will still be called 'A Growing Delight' when I get it all sorted out. I also hope the good things about the first blogger will remain whilst incorporating some new, improved aspects of this program - I hope there are some good things??? At the moment I'm already fed up with having to sign in all the time. Why does it say it will remember me if I tick the box? Has anyone ever been remembered yet?

I have several photos from our trip to the coast that I was going to post for GTS, but I'm pressed for time today, so I've posted this photo to represent the old (blog) being washed out to sea, and the new (Beta blog) washing in.

I see you've taken the plunge! (so to speak). I haven't fooled with the template update yet. I'll do that tomorrow when my brain has had some rest. I'll let you know if I'm remembered or not! I haven't been so far when leaving comments, and I always have to do the word verification and password twice. It's annoying!
Now excuse me while I go and paddle in those lovely frothy waves.

Ahhh, the sea always refreshes and restores. Thanks for the lovely photograph. It would make a lovely desktop image for a computer.

Welcome to the new blogger! I still have to sign in all the time, also, but picture uploading is much better. Hey - did you know there is some fella next to you in your photo? Is that the gardener you always talk about? Does your husband know? hehe

I use an offline blogging editor called Qumana (www.qumana.com) which works with Blogger.

It is free to download and makes it quick and easy to upload photos, save, and post. Plus you'll never have to worry about signing in again.

I love that photo-how appropriate!

I still have all the signing rubbish to do, & I have changed to Beta. -they lie when they say it is all sorted!
I must try andrea's tip!

Good Luck Alice!

Beautiful picture! It may make it to my desk top before long as I need something to help me forget the snow outside.

Blogger remembers me if I'm using the Firefox browser. If I use IE I have to log in every time. I usually have to enter the word verification letters twice :-(

I'm going to check out qumana.

Hmm, I was just about to get up the courage to switch to the new blogger and then your post and others' comments put me off. What a great excuse!

I do love your choice of photo to represent the ebb and flow of blogger.

Ditto on the constant sign ins! I've only had it for one day and I am already annoyed with that, especially since I now have a longer sign in (email address).

Like just now. I hit "publish" and it made me sign in again.

Hello Frances... How are you? Beautiful picture of the beach, how I’d love to be taking a walk along it. However, despite most of UK suffering snow last week, its quite mild again. I’ve been making an early start on the garden. That reminds me, I’ll have to go and collect up all the tools I’ve left lying around. Marion

Welcome to the new Blogger. Picture uploading is much better, but I hate the signing in all the time, too. It never remembers me, either.
Love your photo, it is great.
Hope your week is going well.
Take care, Meow

I haven't been remembered yet! I do like the new version though, once you get the hang of it, it is so easy to use.
we are having lovely rain at the moment - gently soaking rain

No, mine hasn't remembered yet either! I thought it had something to do with my computer set up or something. Glad I'm not the only one.
