River Tranquility

The Wagonga Inlet at Narooma is a picture of peace and tranquility, sheltered from Pacific Ocean winds and a haven for fishing boats.
Private boatsheds line the banks.

All this leisure brings on an appetite.

Looks like you've been enjoying the sea and the sun too! I love the picture with the three pelican (?) heads at the bottom. They look like they're saying "Hey? Is that lady taking a picture of us?" Were they real??

aaah, messing about on boats and fish and chips, nothing better than that in life!

Judith - the pelicans were certainly real but I cropped their bodies off because the water was pretty murky there. You know how photographers cheat...lol.

GG - great life, indeed.

Now I'm yearning for fish 'n chips, no chance of having any though. The Man Who Cooks doesn't approve.

This is outrageous! Not only do you two go to the beach without me, now I see you've been eating fish and chips without me!!! Don't make me come over there!!
Seriously though....fish and chips by the water, who could ask for anything more? Your pictures just ooze tranquility. What a beautiful little inlet that is. I can almost smell the sea air.....

Nice fish and chips - as nice as the garage ones????

I could live in one of those boat sheds!!

Shelly - the chips were better than the garage ones, but not the fish. Tomakin fish is still the BEST!

Hello Alice.....
Oh! What wonderful names - ‘Wagonga’ - ‘Narooma’, I love them and hardly a person in sight, scenes of peace and tranquility indeed!

What a lovely picture of Richard and the fish and chips, well they do look delicious.

I was going to ask if the birds were pelicans, but I see that my question has been answered.
