Whilst on the subject of Wales....

...... these photos were taken on a train trip from Machynlleth to Pwllheli. Most were taken through the train windows, so I apologise for them being not as clear as I would like, and with the occasional reflection. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact location for many of these places along the route.

The station at Machynlleth.

Stone fences.

Hundreds of holiday cabins.

Harlech castle.

It just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?.....lol

A beautiful area but very complicated language!

How very scenic and peaceful the countryside is. She's a bonny land, to be sure :)
Beautiful photos...even through the train window.
Oh yes, that name simply rolls off my tongue...just as the words to the national anthem do....LOL.

THank you for taking me on the ride with you! I love trains! I have even taken the tras-siberian train!

This visit to Melbourne to see the welsh choir has really fired up your interest and memories of Wales. Thanks for taking me on the train trip as I have never been to Wales. It looks like "Picture Book" scenery.

Alice, thank you for posting these photos! I have Welsh roots, but have been there only briefly for a 2 night visit. Didn't get to "look" as much as I wanted to.
