- Alice
- My husband and I are both retired and have lived in Canberra (Australia's Capital) for 35 years after moving from Victoria. We both love gardening and travel; I also love photography (you'd never guess), sewing & crafts, and writing. We have 4 wonderful adult children - 3 girls, 1 boy, and 6 adorable grandchildren.

Hello dear Alice. I'll have to come back later and catch up, but wanted to tell you the wedding was wonderful, with perfect weather, in a beautiful setting (gardens at Cornell). Thanks so much for your sweet thoughts :)

The colors of the sky are just beautiful and thanks for sharing with us.....
That first shot is really beautiful - what a glorious shade of pink!
I just love the softness of the pink and blue here, and that you were able to share it. The second image especially, it reminds me of the tones so often used on my favoroite old images of Christ and Our Blessed Mother, there is often just this sort of soft healing sky in the background, and it moves me everytime.

Its not that they aren't always available, the secret is seeing them and catching them.. As my younger daughter says.. cookies and stars!!!
I think sunsets are my favourite pics, actually no, it might be sunrises, then again I do love the colours and the profusion and the balance all around the gardens, of the flowers............
