Those trees all looks so beautiful in their Autumn splendour, but I realise they are not always the delight the appear to be.

Dear Alice ~~ Marvellous photos here of the lovely trees of all varieties
and I especially like the ones of
Canberra. I visited many, many years ago and thought at the time it was a great place, and I guess it has had some changes since I was there. Thank you Alice for your comments and kind words; that was very nice of you. I feel better after the weekend with both my sons. My daughters live too far away to visit. Take care my friend
and I hope your Mother's Day was a
happy one. Love, Merle.

Hi Alice!!!! I've been slack in the blogging department too, trust me. It's hard enough getting a post out of me every month or so let alone visiting. But oh, I do so love to go visiting and was so pleased to see your message today! And doubly pleased to read that your daughter was reading my blog too, hah!

Your garden looks wonderful as always - it's a work of art in its own right. Autumn would be my favourite season if I lived somewhere the trees changed colour, but here they don't, they just kind of wilt and look horrid so I have to love spring instead!

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Shell.

What a wonderful autumn palette you have in your garden! Thanks for this very pleasant stroll around your yard, Alice. We should do this more often :)
You have such an interesting collection of plants in your garden. It's a labour of love, obviously, and you and Richard do a wonderful job keeping it looking beautiful.

Alice, these are superb! What a beauty you have surrounded yourselves with.

I just LOVE the photographic artwork in your Chinese tallow and liquidamber. We just don't get a colourful Autumn in the West!
