The three photos on my last posting were actually taken in June. However, the garden at this moment still looks pretty much the same - yellow daisies not so prolific but we now have the glorious purple 'Winter Joy' wallflower, and there are no red leaves on the Canadian Maple, just new shoots.
Also flowering are calendula, carnations, alyssum, gazanias, stocks, Chinese lanterns, correas (do the last two ever STOP flowering?), African daisies, violas and violets, sundry daisies, daffodils and the odd geranium. That's all I can remember without taking a walk around the garden in the rain.
Forgot to mention the fruit trees - plums, apricots, peach, nectarine, pear, apple and cherry - all either flowering or about to very soon.
There are literally thousands of self-sown Californian poppies, larkspurs, alyssum, gazanias, forget-me-nots, violets, and wretched Shirley poppies coming up everywhere. I hate having to pull out self-sown plants but if I don't then they choke each other out.
